Terence Shen
Terence Shen is a political analyst, China expert and social media influencer.
He launched his YouTube channel "Mr. Shen" in 2019. It rapidly became one of the leading political channels in the Mandarin-speaking world.
The channel covers a wide range of topics including Indo-Pacific affairs, international relations, and Chinese politics.
Through "Mr. Shen," Terence provides insightful analysis of contemporary events and their connections to China, exposing misinformation and distorted narratives perpetuated by the Chinese Communist regime and its state media.
The Toronto Star describes it as "a Toronto man’s crusade against China’s propaganda."
Terence Shen holds an undergraduate degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree from the Centre for East Asian Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
